IRL Panel

I'll be attending the second IRL Panel, where some cool women will be talking about Friendship :D

"IRL is a panel and friendly networking event hosted by Emma Gannon and Laura Jane Williams, for women with a lot to say.

We believe the stories of women inspire other women. Cracking open the minds of impressively brazen and insightful leaders in business, tech, lifestyle, film, media and education, we discuss how to make opportunities, overcome obstacles, and cultivate self-empowerment at work and play."

Serialkon (Krakow, Poland)

I'm delighted to have been invited as a guest speaker at Serialkon, a Polish convention devoted to TV shows. In the spirit of most Polish sci-fi and fantasy cons, it's more similar to an academic conference, with papers and panels on a variety of subjects, which I'm very excited about as an academic nerd.

We're finalising the details soon, but I will be speaking about sexuality and diversity on TV, both in an individual presentation and some panels.
